Living & care

Start with the support your family needs to discuss.

Every family’s needs are different. The best next step is an open conversation about daily routines, health needs, and whether the community may fit.

Everyday support

Families can discuss help with bathing, dressing, medications, and personal routines when needed.

Mobility and health needs

Wheelchair use, diabetes and insulin, oxygen, feeding-tube supplies, wound care, and off-site dialysis can be discussed during the assessment. Families provide medical supplies for oxygen, feeding tubes, and wound care.

Care coordination

Ask about transportation for doctor appointments, pharmacy delivery, and the routines that matter most to your family.

Independent living and couples

The community can discuss independent-living needs and shared accommodations for married couples in a double room.

When another setting may be better

American Golden Care does not provide memory care or support for wandering. It is also not the right setting for two-person transfers, bed-bound care, or residents who need a lift. Choosing a community equipped for those needs is important.

Practical household questions

Smoking is limited to a designated area. Pets are not accepted. Bring these and any other household questions to your tour so the team can discuss the current policy with you.
